Earlier this fall, Colorado-based Cappella Living Solutions (Cappella) assumed management of Heritage Crossing Assisted Living and Memory Care in Akron.
Cappella is the management and consulting division of Denver-based Christian Living Communities (CLC), which has a legacy of 45+ years providing operational excellence and innovation in senior living. Cappella provides Heritage Crossing with strategic support and innovative services to augment the new community’s exceptional service and programming.
Cappella brings enriching programs to Heritage Crossing such as Rhythms Dementia and Life Enrichment Services, which emphasize holistic wellness based on each person’s natural life rhythms. The community also now has Duet Hospitality, a dining service that prioritizes excellence and offers additional customized programming such as Teaching Kitchen, Heirloom Recipes and focus on Super Foods.
Capella’s support at Heritage Crossing is part of a regional transition of four properties in Indiana and Ohio. Capella’s team members and programs will build on the group’s legacy to honor every person’s story while encouraging community enrichment and connection. With the management transition of these four communities, Cappella has grown this year to support a total of 26 communities spanning from Ohio and Indiana to Texas and Colorado.
“We are tremendously grateful for this opportunity to expand our reach and touch more lives,” shared CEO Terry Rogers of CLC/Cappella. “This expansion is a strategic opportunity to share our unique culture and create communities where aging in honored and celebrated.” To learn more about Cappella visit www.cappellaliving.com.
