Heritage Crossing is excited to welcome Memory Support Director Sarah Winston, ACP, CDP, to our team. Sarah loves working in senior living and has a passion for seniors living with dementia and their families. As a Certified Activity Professional, (APC), and 16 years of experience working as an Activity Director, Sarah brings a spirit of joy and celebration to each day in the life of residents and team members alike.
Sarah began her career in health care 35 years ago as a nursing assistant where she decided she wanted to make a difference in the lives of seniors. Sarah is a Certified Dementia Practitioner, trained through the National Councils of Certified Dementia Practitioners, and is an advocate for seniors living with Alzheimer’s. She feels privileged to serve residents in our award-winning senior living community. Sarah loves bringing each day to life and making it magical for residents, paying attention to the little things that make them happy, like extra whipped cream on their sundae or a scenic ride at the end of a beautiful fall season.
Sarah is a wife, mother, and grandmother who loves to cheer on the Bowling Green Falcons, listen to 50s music, sing karaoke, and work in her garden.
