Practicing Stress Management and Self Care During the Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic has increased the amount of stress on Heritage Crossing residents, team members, and family members in a variety of different ways. For many people, this stress level is greater than anything they have experienced before, so their normal stress management techniques just aren’t cutting it.

Stress can have a negative effect on a person’s health, both physical and mental. Stress can present itself in many ways including irritability, fatigue, pain, lethargy, sleeplessness, and other detrimental symptoms. People have had to navigate extreme changes in schedules, communication, social life, isolation, and health management, while also learning to handle higher levels of stress that have come along with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Are you ready to learn how to manage your stress levels and improve your quality of life? Check out the Together We! Thrive video replay from our Facebook live session where you’ll learn how to practice stress management and self-care during COVID-19 and develop coping skills that will last a lifetime. Download the handout before watching so you can follow along.
